Almost childlike in stature, Shuten is in fact an age-old Oni. A self-confessed extreme hedonist.
Ever since her youth she had always exhibited her pleasure-seeking tendencies with terrifying acts of drinking and violence, garnering her a reputation as a total wild child.
This led to her eventually magically being sealed away by an Onmyoji.
After being released from the seal by Caesar, Shuten plans to continue her debaucherous ways, but perhaps this is an encounter that will change her life forever...
"I enjoy pleasure, following my heart's every desire. Any time I decide I want something, I instantly go get it, hehe. I suppose I'm a troublesome woman, completely lacking in restraint."

One day, one of Nana's underlings comes by with Janelle, telling Nana that Janelle would like to join Caesar's harem on her own accord.
Janelle just looks at Nana with that ditsy smile of hers, without a care in the world.
Nana checks if she's up to snuff in battle, and then immediately agrees to let her join.
Janelle's one of those people who floats through life with a big goofy grin on her face, head in the clouds... and yet everything still seems to work out for her.
Despite her less-than-stellar cognitive abilities, and her slow reflexes, Janelle will gladly take on and finish any mission given to her.
